Since 2018, CNA Emilia Romagna has been partner of the BI-REX Competence Center, created and coordinated by the University of Bologna within the Industry 4.0 national plan.
Located in Bologna, at the Opificio Golinelli, BI-REX has among its founders, in addition to the University of Bologna, The University of Modena and Reggio, the University of Ferrara, The University of Parma, the University Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, The National Institute of Nuclear Physics (TTLab, INFN-LNS) and the National Research Council (IMAMOTER, ISTEC, NANO-UOS-S3, INSEAN, IAMC).
CNA Emilia Romagna is actively engaged in the promotion and support of the system of skills and of the regional industrial development on the themes of Industry 4.0, and it cooperates with BI-REX through the network of its ten 10 Digital Innovation Hubs.
In fact, since 2017, CNA Emilia Romagna has launched a two-year plan to promote the competitive improvement of SMEs and craft companies within their production chains, through the assimilation of themes such as the Enabling Technologies identified at European level, the Big Data, the active participation in the regional Clust-ER (through its center for technology transfer and innovation, CNA Innovazione, as founder partner) and the development of a close relationship with the Competence Centre.
